Contemporary Salon: Gabriel Kuri

Join the Mitchell Center and the Blaffer Art Museum for a salon-style discussion of Gabriel Kuri’s exhibition, Nobody needs to know the price of your Saab, on view August 28 – November 13, 2010. Moderated by Blaffer Director and Chief Curator Claudia Schmuckli, the talk will feature guest panelists Fredericka Hunter, Director of Texas Gallery; Rex Koontz, Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Houston; Mary Leclre, Associate Director of the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; and Katrina Moorhead, artist. A short wine and cheese reception will precede the event.
