Media Archeology: Liquid Light to the Laptop

April 17 & 18, 2009

The Mitchell Center co-presents Aurora Picture Show's annual multimedia festival featuring artists who incorporate audio/visual technology with live performance. This year's festival, Liquid Light to the Laptop was comprised of two nights of performances that pay tribute to the multimedia spectacle of the psychedelic light show, as an art form that revolutionized rock concerts, influenced popular culture and paved the way for the real-time visual culture of today. Performances were held at Museum of Fine Arts Houston Brown Theater. Curated by Bree Edwards
