Artist in Residence Marc Bamuthi Joseph will present a preview of his work-in-progress, red, black & GREEN: a blues, a multimedia piece that lands at the intersection of green economics and black psychology using performance, music, movement and poetry. The complete performance of red, black & GREEN: a blues will be presented by the Mitchell Center in fall 2011. This preview is co-sponsored by the Houston Museum of African American Culture.
