New York contemporary string quartet ETHEL, hailed as "extraordinarily skilled, passionate musicians" by The New York Times, performs a site-specific celebration of music and architecture. Part installation, part theatrical event, In the House of ETHEL invites the audience to roam freely during the performance, following musicians through the space. In the House of ETHEL is composed collaboratively and is never the same twice. The work has been performed at the U.S. Library of Congress, the Whitney Museum, the Staten Island Ferry Terminal and other grand locations.
