THE NATURE OF THE COLLABORATIVE PROCESS IN OPERA

A conversation with the composer, John Corigliano; librettist, William M. Hoffman; and others in anticipation of the Moores Opera Center’s presentation of The Ghosts of Versailles. Panelists will discuss the process of joining text with music in the perpetually collaborative art form of opera. Discussion will be followed by screenings of two films scored by Mr. Corigliano, The Red Violin and Altered States.
