Back by popular demand! Composer Stephen Montague's "orchestra of automobiles" will be performed by AURA Contemporary Ensemble and cars from the Art Car Museum, with special guests The Art Guys, for the grand opening of Discovery Green, Houston's new downtown park.

The Horn Concerto has been performed in many public spaces in the United States and Europe, starred numerous iconic figures including politicians, actors, and sports figures, and been broadcast on national media.

Based in London since 1974, Stephen Montague has been working as a composer of orchestral, chamber, dance and electro-acoustic music.  His music has been performed at numerous international festivals, including the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Warsaw Autumn festival, the Paris Festival d'Automne and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.  Montague has been commissioned by such sources as the BBC Proms, the Hilliard Ensemble, pianist Stephen Kovacevich, percussionist Evelyn Glennie, and the International Computer Music Association.
